Scottish and Southern Energy is a leading energy generator, head quartered in the UK with an established business in Ireland, and operations in multiple markets, such as France, Greece, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland and Spain, as well as Japan. SSE develops, owns and operates low carbon infrastructure to support the zero-carbon transition, such as onshore and offshore wind, solar PV and storage. We have extensive experience in building clean energy infrastructure, including the largest offshore wind farm in the world, the 3.6GW Dogger Bank in the UK.

SSE is also developing low carbon technologies, such as Power CCS and hydrogen, to ensure security of electricity supply, by providing flexible generation to support renewable-led systems.
