EBB

The European Biodiesel Board (EBB) is a Brussels-based non-profit organization established in 1997. It’s an association for producer and importers of biodiesel and renewable diesel (FAME and HVO) in Europe, gathering 34 members across 21 Member-States, representing 75% of European biodiesel output. It represents biodiesel producers using all feedstocks: food/feed crops, waste, residues, and other innovative biogenic materials. Biodiesel is used primarily as a substitute for fossil fuels in transport and is key to decreasing EU transport emissions and dependence on imported oil. The EBB promotes European biodiesel use and is committed to international standards for sustainability in GHG emissions and feedstock supply.
