The Hydrogen and Gas markets Decarbonisation Package is expected in December this year.

While the emerging hydrogen economy is seen as an open door for cross-sectoral decarbonisation, many questions remain about the structure of the future hydrogen market.

The challenge is now about designing the right regulatory framework allowing for a successful energy transition while setting the EU on track for technical leadership in hydrogen technologies.

During this Online Energy Debate, the EEF Associate Members GIE, GRTgaz and Snam will first provide a broad overview, focusing then on current advances and technologies in two EU countries: France and Italy. They will discuss with the European Commission and panellist MEPs the policy levers required to support the development of a safe, secure and cost-effective pan-European Market for hydrogen.

We look forward to e-meeting you there!
