The transformation of whole European Union economy to reach carbon neutrality is impacting EU Member States at different levels.

For countries like Poland where power generation is predominantly based on coal, the challenges are significant. The government and the energy sectors are making efforts already to achieve EU targets and plan further investments in low-emission solutions.

It is our pleasure to welcome Michał Kurtyka, Minister of Climate of Poland and UNFCCC COP24 President, who will engage in a discussion with the audience on the different challenges of the transformation. The cost of the transition, the investment support, the communication with civil society and the improvement of the quality of life of citizens are all important parts of the equation.

This event will provide participants with the opportunity to openly share questions and points of view. We look forward to this fruitful energy discussion.
